Die Antwoord-Rich Bitch

Different and very interesting, I appreciate the way the Art and Technology complement each other in this video.
   1. The Art: i Love the colorful sets used in the background, the props and the costume changes. Some may not like the content of the lyrics, but the artist did a great job delivering her message, also the music was hypnotizing.
 2. The Technology: What ever software that was used to create the music and edit it, mate it sound great. The visual effects were awesome, and helped to enhance the video. Great use of Art and Technology.

Madama Butterfly

Altho I did not understand the words, I understood the story, because of the animation. The animation brought the words to life and as the plot evolves, the words seemed clear to me. The sadness of the story did not let my belief down when it comes to Opera, as I always believed that Opera tells a sad story, and this one surely did. The end of the story when the lady had a butterfly on her head, I saw this as a memory from her past when she was happy.

Roland Barthes, "The World of Wrestling"

I have never read or heard, wrestling being described in such a deep explanation. Wrestling is described as a play being performed in a grand theatre, and the actors/wrestlers  performing to the perfection and expections of the audience. I love how the writer describes to feelings portrayed by the wrestler by the anguish look on his face or the throwing up of his arms as a sign of defeat, and how the audience loves to heat the bad guy and are thrilled when he gets his just reward.

MICHEL FOUCAULT

Michel Foucault opened my eyes when he gave the example of a "central Tower" in a prison setting, and the prisoners never know if they are being watched, but they live as if they are being watched, fast forward to today, I see cameras everywhere, at intersections, stores, private homes, computers and camera phones to name a few. In comparison , to the prisoners being watched, one never knows when someone is watching them in todays society. With all of these cameras, society in the most part, seems to govern themselves.

Dr. Raul Cuero

I agree with Dr Raul Cuero, in that to make significant change in one's own life, you must be able to set goals without the fear of failure. This is applicable to my life because I can apply this attitude to any job, my life, and any scenario I may encounter.
