New_Media_Wayne McGregor | Random Dance in the Rain Room

Amazing how one can walk through the rain and not get wet. how do they do it?  The future of  technology seems endless. I would love to create something with technology that has never been done before and wow the world.

New_media_Inspired Experiences from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

Amazing what the artist have done with technology. I have never seen anything like the art pieces that are on display at the cosmopolitan. this is definitely "New Media". It's amazing what one can accomplish today with the new technology.

New_Media_145-inch Ultra High Definition plasma display

wow, the advancement of television has come a long way. I remember my parents having a black and whit Television with rabbit ears (antennas). I'm overwhelmed with this new, first of its kind Plasma Television and the way the screen looks.

Music_Prince

Prince was ahead of his time. From the beginning of his career he infused technology with his music and live shows. although he has passed, his music will live on forever.

Music_Tiesto

As a Professional Disc Jockey myself, I have always had the highest respect for DJ Tiesto. Not only is he a great DJ and a producer, he also pushes Technology to the max especially with the use of lights during his live shows.

Music_I Will Survive

Gloria Gaynor is another timeless act. Her music and style of singing is loved by all. When she sings you can feel her emotions because she sings from her heart. Even today when her music is played at a venue the dance floor gets packed, and her song "I Will Survive" is a favorite among the Karaoke singers.

Music_The Bee Gees

The Bee Gees have proven over the years that the music is timeless. One can still hear their music on the air waves today although there music came out in the 70's. I love them because there were about dancing and having fun. All about the good times.

Performance Video by Joel "Joey Jam" Ellis

There is a parking problem here at the University of Tampa, although there is a new parking garage, there is still a need for more parking. This performance video brings to life the no parking problem.

Video Art Newsism - Video Art Project"

This was the best video art piece that I have seen amongst all the students submissions. He did a great gob withe the visual pieces, although the audio could have been a little better.
http://squid4u.blogspot.com/2009/05/video-art-piece-add-hd.html

the artist intention was to make a visual art piece that sucked, well he succeeded, because this visual art piece is totally trash the audio and video.

Video Art "Tremors"

I did not really this video too much, it did not create the effect intended, e.g. you could heat someone turning on and off the light switch.

The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye

The Ballad of Genesis and Lady Jaye

Another weird form of performing art. I really don't quite understand, are there two men wanting to become women? or is one a man and he wants to become a woman like his female lover? confusing, but different.

Psychic TV - Godstar

Psychic TV - Godstar

Good video and it has a nice beat and lots of cool effects, it really is Physic. I also love how it inter twines scenes from the 60's, flower child era. This giver the impression that someone could be hallucinating on some sort of drugs.

Performance Art

Hermann Nitsch - Maria - Conception - Action (1969)

This must have been the weirdest and freakish thing I have
ever seen. Cutting open a Lamb, taking all the guts out
and spreading them over a naked lady tied to a cross,
then throwing the blood over her Virginia, and then
having sex with her...... Weird

Full Art History Timeline

Full Art History Timeline

I loved how the artist evolved an told the history of art through visual are and music. They went from, what they perceive how time began, and traveled through the centuries passing through the Roman era and ending in our century. great concept.

Marcel Duchamp - Anemic Cinema

Marcel Duchamp - Anemic Cinema

Wow this video is hypnotic. I have seen the rotating lines before, but I have never seen words incorporated within
the rotating lines. Great way to send a subliminal message
or get a point across. The music complemented the artist's work also.

Artists & Technology 1900 – 1960

Artists & Technology 1900 – 1960

Man Ray. Le Retour A La Raison (The Return to Reason),
1923.
I like this video because the way the artist/s combined
Art and Technology was amazing, they worked together
very well. I also liked how the artist/s used a lot of natural
elements such as,the street lights, inside of an ice tray
and the human body.

Extreme Sheep LED Art

This Art piece is truly amazing and original. I love how
different this is, and the music/sound effects
adds to the drama. Who ever thought of this idea,
was truly think out of the box. I love it.

"First Apple Computer"

In 1984 Apple introduced to the world, by way of a commercial, the first Apple computer. The commercial was shown during the 3rd quarter of SuperBowl XVIII. The commercial was only aied once.
LUCY
"I Love Lucy" was one of my parents favorite shows, she along with her cast of characters, Ricardo, Ethel and her husband, always made them laugh. She truly was one of a kind. I don't know anyone today that can compare to her.

FlipBook

My FlipBook is about a "CUP" that holds life inside of it and pours it out onto the world and the Life returnes back into it.

This is a clip from a NASA 30+ year employee. We learnt a lot from him an had an insight of future technology that they are working on.
